Everyone is an Artist at Paint Party Royal Oak

Kathy Pare believes it doesn't take a true "artist" to create a masterpiece and at least everyone can have fun trying at Paint Party Royal Oak.

What does your business offer?

Paint Party Royal Oak offers group painting classes for individuals, girls night out, birthday parties, bachelorette parties, corporate outings and private parties. We provide the paint, canvas, brushes and instruction. At the end of class you will go home with your very own masterpiece. No experience necessary!

What's your most popular product or service? 

Group painting classes. Our artists come in saying that they don't think they can do this and leave with a masterpiece they are pleased with

What's a fact about your business that most customers probably don't know?

We believe that everyone is an artist.

When was the business founded?

October 2011

How did your business come to be? 

We were downsized from the corporate world. After that decided to take some time off and sort of live like we were on vacation. We spent some time in Florida. While my husband, Tim, was teaching sailing I discovered their active art community. I started my career as a graphic artist and took watercolor classes for personal enjoyment. So when we returned to Michigan, we decided we needed to do something. Chose to follow what I had a passion for...art.

Why did you choose the area you did?

We are long time residents of Royal Oak, love living there and wanted our business to be in Royal Oak.
