Furnace Stolen Out Of Basement While Resident Out Of Town: Royal Oak Weekly Police Report

A man returning home from being out of town had a cold reception...he discovered someone stole the furnace out of his basement, police say.

ROYAL OAK, MI — A man returning home from being out of town had a cold reception...he discovered someone stole the furnace out of his basement, according to a police report. The theft happened at a home in the 500 block of S. Campbell Rd. between Jan. 5 - Jan. 15. The culprit - or culprits - remain at large.

600 block of Williams St. 1-23-17 – 1-25-17, 4:00 p.m. – 12:00 p.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) removed the catalytic converter from his parked 2003 Acura.

32000 block of Woodward Ave. 1-28-17 – 1-29-17, 12:00 p.m. – 12:00 p.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) stole a bag, containing a laptop computer, iPad, and personal credit cards from the rear of his unlocked 2015 Chevrolet.
