Man Displays Handgun in Road Rage Incident, Woman Attempts to Stab Boyfriend

Coat, Glass art stolen


25352 Woodward (LA Fitness), Nov. 22, 9:50 a.m.-10:30 a.m.: A man reported someone stole his coat hanging in the locker room with his house and car keys inside.

4400 Fernlee (Habitat Galleries), Nov. 22: A man reported someone stole numerous glass art pieces from their display cases. He stated he hosted numerous events over the last couple of months and they may have been stolen during that time.

2700 block of W. 13 Mile, Nov. 20, 8 a.m.-6 p.m.: A man reported someone stole his license plate from his 2008 Hyundai Accent.

25352 Woodward (LA Fitness), Nov. 27, 5:30 p.m.-6:45 p.m.: A man reported someone broke his window to his vehicle and stole his backpack containing his Apple iPad.

 

Trailer stolen

1200 block of Donald, Nov. 23, 2 a.m.-7 a.m.: A man reported someone stole his construction trailer from his driveway containing tools and equipment.

 

Man kicks in glass door

 

208 W. Fifth (Woody’s), Nov. 28, 1:20 a.m.: A man who was asked to leave the establishment by employees became upset and broke the front glass door by kicking it. He was arrested for malicious destruction of property.

Underage drinkers


Lafayette and Sixth, Nov. 22, 9 p.m.: Officers were on routine patrol checking the parking structures and observed four underage males drinking alcohol. The subjects were all issued tickets for minor in possession of alcohol.

 

Heroin found in man's car


Detroit Ave. and Elizabeth, Nov. 25, 7:30 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the area on a possible drug overdose. The officers arrived and found a subject unconscious in his vehicle. Officers located heroin and narcotic paraphernalia inside the vehicle and Royal Oak Fire transported the subject to the hospital where he is expected to recover. 


Motel stay leads to arrest


111 W. 12 Mile (City Motel), Nov. 27, 6:30 a.m.: Officers checking the motels arrested a subject with a felony warrant for obstructing police from another jurisdiction. 

 

Woman attempts to stab boyfriend


31105 Woodward (Starbucks), Nov. 27, 7 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the parking lot regarding an aggravated assault involving a knife. The officers spoke to a witness who stated he observed a woman with a large knife attempting to stab a man. The officers spoke with the man who stated he had a verbal argument with his girlfriend. The officers spoke with the female and recovered a knife inside her coat sleeve. She was arrested for felonious assault.

Man Displays Handgun in Road Rage Incident


E. 12 Mile and Ardmore, Nov. 28, 5 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the area for a felonious assault involving a road rage incident. The officers spoke with the victim and her family who stated the suspect drove next to her vehicle and pointed a handgun at her. The incident is currently under investigation.
