Navigation System Stolen From Jeep On S. Lafayette

ROYAL OAK, MI — The navigation system of a vehicle in the S. Lafayette parking structure was stolen on Nov. 3, according to Royal Oak Police. The victim told police her 2007 Jeep was parked in the structure between 5:40 a.m. and 11 p.m.

The vehicle’s front passenger window was smashed in. The navigation system was the only item reported stolen from the vehicle, according to police reports.

Larceny from Motor Vehicle

• 2725 Nakota Rd., (Great Lakes Construction) 11-5-17, 3:00 a.m.- 3:36 a.m.: Officers stopped a suspect vehicle and discovered items related to a Larceny from Motor Vehicle that had just occurred. The suspect was arrested, and the suspect vehicle impounded. Several pieces of reported stolen property and credit cards were recovered.

• 4000 block of Judson Ave., 11-6-17- 11-7-17, 11:00 a.m.- 7:45 a.m.: Complainant reported unknown suspect(s) entered her apartment storage locker and stole several deactivated cellphones, a Samsung tablet, and several handbags.
• 3000 block of Greenfield Rd., 11-6-17- 11-7-17, 8:00 p.m.- 5:30 a.m.: Complainant reported unknown suspect(s) entered his unlocked 2010 Jeep and stole an iPad with charging cards, and his wallet containing several credit cards. 17-41060
