Near-Perfect Weather Ahead in Metro Detroit

Metro Detroit, MI — Great weather is ahead for the work week, with highs in the upper 70s and low 80s and only a couple of chances for thunderstorms.

Here’s how it looks, according to the National Weather Service.

Monday: Partly sunny, with a high near 78; east northeast wind around 6 mph becoming calm. Monday  night: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms; mostly cloudy, with a low around 60; light and variable wind becoming east northeast 5 to 10 mph in the evening.

Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 76; east wind 8 to 11 mph. Tuesday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 60; east northeast wind 8 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph.

Wednesday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 8 a.m., mostly cloudy, with a high near 80. Wednesday night: Showers and thunderstorms likely; mostly cloudy, with a low around 65; chance of precipitation is 60 percent

Thursday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms; mostly cloudy, with a high near 81. Thursday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 62.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 81. Friday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 60.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 83. Saturday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 63.
