Oakland Community Health Network Releases Request for Proposal

The Oakland Community Health Network, hereafter known as OCHN, is requesting proposals from highly qualified, experienced website development and administration companies to design, develop and implement its public-facing website (www.oaklandchn.org) using a robust Content Management System (CMS)-based application that delivers specialized capabilities for OCHN and the community. The chosen partner must be a company that has experience in managing website development and administration projects for government-funded organizations and expertise with best practices regarding:

· Successful website redesign

· Content strategy

· Responsive design

· User experience and usability testing

· Information architecture

· Website development and deployment

· Website hosting

The Bidder selected by OCHN will have significant expertise in the areas necessary to meet the needs and requirements set forth in this Request for Proposal (RFP), including, the ability to provide innovative solutions. Through this RFP process, OCHN desires to enhance service efficiency and minimize costs and risk, while at the same time providing the Bidder with the incentive to successfully perform based upon pricing and operational parameters.

OCHN intends to purchase services identified in this solicitation. The term on the Contract shall be from award date to the expiration date unless extended by mutual agreement of the parties. OCHN shall award an agreement resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Bidder whose offer conforms to this solicitation deemed to be most advantageous to OCHN, price and other factors considered. OCHN reserves the right to award the contract to other than the lowest priced response. The award shall be made to the Bidder representing the best value to the project and OCHN. OCHN reserves the right to award to more than one Bidder. If an Agreement is established as a result of this solicitation, Bidder understands that services indicated in Attachment D are an estimate only and OCHN does not guarantee the purchase of any item listed.
