Of those individuals, more than 100 people agreed to be a part of a focus group on a parking system the Royal Oak Police Department is considering.

On Jan. 5, 2021, Chief O'Donohue gave a presentation on the results of the downtown parking survey and presented a system called the Sentry Meter / Kiosk Platform.
