Police Seek Information On Unarmed Robbery In Oakland County

SOUTHFIELD, MI — Police in Oakland County are seeking information related to an unarmed robbery at a car wash in Southfield.

Southfield police said officers were called to an unarmed robbery at the Jax car wash on Telegraph Road, south of Twelve Mile Road, on Friday.

The victim told police he was approached from behind by the suspect, who grabbed the victim's glasses from his face during the incident, police said.

The suspect ran from the car wash after the crime before getting into a Chevrolet Impala and driving away, police said. A second suspect was in the Impala.
