Royal Oak Schools Posts Opening for Human Resources Director

Royal Oak Schools is seeking candidates for the position of Human Resources Director.  The Human Resources Director is responsible for planning, implementing, & maintaining a comprehensive personnel program for Royal Oak Schools. The Human Resources Director will be a member of the Superintendent’s Cabinet and will work under the Executive Director of Finance and Operations.

The Human Resources Director Position is a new one in the Royal Oak Schools.   With the announced retirement of the district's current Executive Director of Administrative Services, the district is creating a director level position dedicated to human resources.  An overall administrative organization plan was approved by the district's Board of Education in December. The new organizational plan does not add costs, nor executive level positions, but it does reallocate resources with a greater emphasis on support for teaching and learning moving forward.
