Spring Forward! Yes, despite the snow piles outside my window, it is time to “spring forward,” as Daylight Saving Time 2014 officially begins at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 9. Remember to set your clocks forward one hour when you go to bed this Saturday night.
The Bullycide Project: The Bullycide Project is based on the book Bullycide in America. The Project tells the true stories of ten individuals who committed bullycide, as well as personal stories of cast members on subjects ranging from isolation to cutting. On March 19, 2014, this production is coming to Royal Oak Middle School. In addition to performances during the school day, there is a performance planned for the evening, March 19, 2014, beginning at 6:30 p.m. We hope that community members and parents from across the district will attend. The performance is free. To view a flyer announcing the evening performance, click here. When performed in schools, the production is recommended for grades 6-12, which suggests the evening performance may not be appropriate for elementary children.
