Tech Superstar's Awesome New Place to Work - No, Play; Wait, Create Through Play

Vectorform has settled – as settled as this uproariously fun tech start-up gets, that is – into its new digs.

Royal Oak-based technology superstar Vectorform is offering a peek in a YouTube video at what’s behind those drones and electric skateboards whirring and speeding around the company’s new digs in the former Barnes & Noble building at 500 S. Main St.

The drones and the electric skateboards of the future aren’t a distraction to the employees. Rather, company co-founder Jason Vazzano explains, they are in keeping with a corporate philosophy that embraces creativity through play.

The philosophy seems to have worked. Its portfolio of clients include Microsoft, Walt Disney, The New York Times, Estee Lauder, American Express and Nike to name just a few.

Here’s the introductory information about the video:

“Now in downtown Royal Oak, has found a space that fits their atypical brand. It’s not uncommon to see drones or electric skateboards speeding around their office, but it’s not a distraction for them – their corporate philosophy is one that embraces this creativity through play. Their new office is an extension and manifestation of that thought process, which is key to attracting the talent they need for their projects.”
