Wallets Pickpocketed At Main Street Shops
Mr. B's and Starbucks were among the businesses that were hit between Nov. 23-27, police said.

ROYAL OAK, MI — Several patrons of Main Street businesses had their wallets stolen between Nov. 23-27, according to Royal Oak Police Department reports. Two of the complaints came from Mr. B’s at 215 Main Street.
A woman told police that someone took her wallet from her purse when she placed it on a table next to her in the bar. Reports said it was stolen between 12:45 and 1:16 a.m. on Nov. 23. A second woman described a similar scenario and told police her wallet was stolen between midnight and 2 a.m. on the same date.
Similar incidents were reported at Tequila Blue in the early morning hours of Nov. 26 and at Starbucks on Nov. 27 between noon and 12:30 p.m., reports said.

Larceny
- 600 block of N. Main St., 11-20-17 – 11-27-17, 4:21 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.: Complainant reported unknown suspect(s) stole his Schwinn bicycle from outside of his residence.
- 25352 Woodward (LA Fitness), 11-25-17, 3:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.: Complainant reported unknown suspect(s) stole his wallet from his gym bag near the front desk area.
- 1000 block of N. Stephenson Hwy., 11-28-17, 1:27 p.m.: Complainant reported unknown suspect(s) stole a package from his front porch.
- 100 block of S. Edgeworth Ave., 11-28-17, 1:50 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.: Complainant reported unknown suspect(s) stole packages off her front porch.
Malicious Destruction of Property
- 4000 block of Linwood Ave., 11-26-17 – 11-27-17, 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.: Complainant reported unknown suspect(s) broke the passenger front window of his parked 2001 Mercury.
- 200 block of S. Maple Ave., 11-18-17 – 11-20-17, 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.: Complainant reported unknown suspect(s) broke the rear, second floor window of her residence.
