Wild Lights and More at the Detroit Zoo
If you had tickets for Dec. 11, they may be used at another date.
It's animals and lights again at the Detroit Zoo with Wild Lights, a spectacular light display. More than five million LED lights illuminate trees, buildings and more than 200 animal sculptures throughout the front half of the Zoo.You may purchase tickets online.
In addition, a 10-minute adaptation of the beloved animated television classic Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer will be featured at the Wild Adventure Zone 4-D Theater during Wild Lights. This abbreviated version was recreated in traditional stop-motion puppet animation in partnership with SimEx-Iwerks and Bent Image Lab. Featured in high definition 3-D, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer 4-D is more visually brilliant than ever before while preserving the authenticity.Wild Lights guests will recognize classic songs and dialogue brought to life by loveable, iconic characters – the Abominable Snow Monster, Hermey the elf, Santa Claus and, of course, “the most famous reindeer of all.”
Rudolph is a timeless holiday classic and we are excited to have it add to the magic that is Wild Lights.
