Woman In Custody After Hitting Boyfriend With Car: MSP
Michigan State Police took one person in custody Sunday after a reported domestic assault in Royal Oak Township.
ROYAL OAK TWP., MI — A woman was taken into police custody after striking her boyfriend with her car following an argument, Michigan State Police said Monday morning.
Troopers said they were dispatched to the 21000 block of Parkside Blvd. in Royal Oak Township around 10:35 p.m. Sunday following reports of a domestic assault.
Troopers said their investigation showed that a man was intentionally struck by his girlfriend with her car after an argument. An unspecified number of young children were in the vehicle at the time of the incident, police said. They were turned over to family members, police said.

The extend of the man's injuries was not detailed, other than that he was "injured and incapacitated in the street."
Police said they responded to the man's girlfriend's house and take her into custody without incident.
