Woman Hurls Grill Through Ex-Boyfriend's Window: Police

ROYAL OAK, MI — A woman reportedly threw a small BBQ grill through the front window of her ex-boyfriend's home in the 1400 block of Bauman Ave. before fleeing on Dec. 6 at 10:24 p.m., according to a news release.

Police located and arrested the suspect.

Breaking and Entering

900 block of Lawndale Dr. 12-5-16, 8:45 a.m. – 3:40 p.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) entered his residence through a garage door and stole two flat screen TV’s, a video game console, several pieces of jewelry, and numerous electronic accessories.

1700 block of Gardenia Ave. 12-3-16, 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.: Complainant reports an unknown suspect(s) entered her residence and stole a TV from her bedroom.

Larceny from an Automobile

27400 Woodward Ave. (Sign of the Beefcarver), 12-2-16, 12:40 p.m. – 1:05 p.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) broke the driver’s side window of his parked vehicle and stole a shotgun, a hunting bow, and several hunting accessories.

Larceny

2400 block of E. Hudson Ave. 12-5-16, 10:50 a.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect stole a UPS package that was delivered to the porch of her residence.

3601 W. Thirteen Mile RD. (Beaumont Hospital), 12-7-16, 4:07 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.: Complainant reported she was taking a break at work and an unknown suspect(s) took her Apple iPhone from the restroom where she left it.

Malicious Destruction of Property

1200 S. Washington Ave. (Royal Oak Family Dentistry) 12-2-16, 10:50 a.m.: Complainant alleged another patron of the business damaged his vehicle while the vehicle was parked in the business lot.
