What's Happening This Week in Saline

  • The Saline Area Players will hold open auditions for "Silent Night: The Real(ish) Story" for kids age 5 years through adults  from 7-9 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14, and Tuesday, Oct. 15 at Liberty School.  
  • Pat Schnapp, who won First Place for Best Poetry by the Catholic Press Association in 2000 and teaches a state prison class, will participate in the Writers Read series at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, at Brewed Awakenings Cafe in Saline.
  • The Saline District Library will a ghost hunting group at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, and reconvene at 4 p.m. at the Oakhill Cemetery in Saline Township for a tour with local historian Bob Lane.
  • The Saline Farmers Market will be open 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 5, downtown on South Ann Arbor Street, half a block south of Michigan Avenue.
