Erik Edward Parks

Age 18, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2011. He was born on December 14, 1992 and was a 2011 student of Saline High School.

Erik loved the outdoors, the military, and especially Chevy trucks. He was an avid camper, hiker, and hunter. Erik is survived by his parents, Henry Parks and Sandra (Austin) Kent, and his older sister Nichole, who loved him with all their hearts. He also leaves behind his grandfather, James Parks, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lillie Mae Parks and his uncle, Brian Michael Parks. Erik was a wonderful young man with a loving heart who was taken before his time. He will be forever in our hearts.

Visitation and Memorial Gathering will be held on Monday, Oct. 24, 2011, from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Saline First United Methodist Church 1200 N. Ann Arbor St., in Saline (734) 429-4730 http://www.fumc-saline.org.
