Oakwood Cemetery Cleanup is March 12

The City of Saline has scheduled the clean-up of Oakwood Cemetery for the week of March 12, 2012 weather permitting.

All foreign materials, except flowers, pots, saddles, and other decorations, which are being maintained in good condition and are placed on the monument or marker in such a manner so as to not interfere with the care of the grounds around the monument or marker, shall be removed prior to the scheduled clean-up time above.

Any items determined by the City of Saline to be in poor condition will be discarded.  New items can be placed in Oakwood Cemetery beginning Monday, March 19, 2012.

 The City recommends that any person placing items in the cemetery should place a small tag on the item showing the name on the marker for which the memorial is dedicated.
