June 5, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers located at the Saline Municipal Building, 100 N. Harris Street, Saline, MI, for the purpose of hearing all objections to, and support of, the application of Reenders, Inc. and Saline Area Schools for Use Variances from Sections 4.05, 6.05(5), and 6.05(4) of the Saline City Zoning Ordinance for the property located at 650 Woodland Drive E (S.W. corner of E. Woodland Drive and N. Maple Road, Saline, MI), part of Parcel I.D. 18-13-36-110-021. The Variances will apply to Phase 1 and 2 of the proposed Saline Home for the Aged.

VARIANCES APPLIED FOR
Variance #1
To exceed the maximum lot coverage of 30% for a maximum lot coverage of 33.4%.
Section 4.05, Zoning.

Variance #2
To exceed the allowable maximum density for Housing for the Elderly in order to construct a
112-unit facility. Â Section 6.05(5), Zoning.

Variance #3
To allow room areas less than the minimum unit area provided in the code. Section 6.05(4), Zoning.

Written comments on the above application will be received in the office of the City Clerk, 100 N. Harris Street, Saline, MI, prior to the closing of the public hearing.
