Arts and Culture Meeting, Plus More Tips for the Week Ahead
Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your week in Saline.

The Saline Culture & Arts Committee will hold its regular meetings at Saline City Hall located at 100 N. Harris St. All meetings will begin at 6:30 p.m. unless otherwise noticed. Proposed minutes of the above meeting will be available at the office of the Saline City Clerk within eight business days after the meeting in accordance with the open Meetings Act.2. During the week of March 21-24 members of the Saline chapter of the Business Professionals of America (BPA) competed at the State Competition in Grand Rapids. BPA is a national career and technical student organization consisting of 23 state associations and more than 54,000 members. The organization serves secondary and post secondary business education students.

4. Save the date
A special presentation will be made by Lew Kidder, chair of the Scio Township Roads Committee, to the York Township residents concerning the basic repair of residential streets in a time when the existing system (Washtenaw County Road Commission) has very little funds available.  Mr. Kidder has been promoting the use of local "Special Assessment Districts" (SAD) as a means for the repair of residential streets.5.
