Boil Water Notice For City of Saline Through Next Week
A water main break on North Maple Road near Hartman Lane has caused some properties to experience a complete loss of water pressure.
From The City of Saline: A water main break on North Maple Road near Hartman Lane has caused some properties to experience a complete loss of water pressure. Because this repair has caused the total loss of water pressure, coliform bacteria may be present in your water system after your system is restored. Coliform bacteria are generally not harmful and are common throughout our environment.
This applies to specific properties along Echo Court and North Maple Road.
As a precautionary measure, residents at the affected properties along Echo Court and North Maple Road are advised to boil their water used for drinking and/or cooking until further notice. When boiling water, the water should be heated to a full, rolling boil for at least one minute and allowed to cool. Bottled water may be used as an alternative to boiling.
