1. For the seventh year in a row, Dairy Queen’s Miracle Treat Day invites people to come out to area stores, enjoy an ice cream treat and raise funds for services and equipment for hospitalized children at Beaumont Children’s Hospital.

2. Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals is a national charity that works with 170 children’s hospitals across the U.S. and Canada. The group ensures that when a donation is made, it stays in the local community, so that every dollar given goes to help local kids.

3. Miracle Treat Day 2012 raised more than $5.5 million for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in local communities throughout the U.S. and Canada. The Dairy Queen system is one of the top 10 contributors to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals raising nearly $100 million since 1984.

4. For the second year in a row, your Facebook RSVP to Miracle Treat Day will also be matched with a $1 donation to the cause—up to $50,000.
