Emily White Fires a 74 at WWGA National Junior Championship

Saline's all-state golfer bounced back from an off day to post one of Tuesday's top scores at the Women's Western Golf Association's 86th National Junior Championship.

CINCINNATI, OH — Saline all-state golfer Emily White fired a 74 at the Women's Western Golf Association's 86th National Junior Championship at Cincinnati Country Club Tuesday.

White's score was tied for sixth best in the tournament Tuesday. White's 16-stroke improvement from Monday's round of 90 was the second best.

The two-round total of 164 left White outside of the championship flight match play. White will compete in match play in the first of four other flights. She tees off Wednesday morning against Anna Gleixner, of Greenwood, IN.
