July 4th Weather: Out of the Fire and Into Thunderstorms?
If you're out and about in the Saline area, be ready for potentially severe weather.

If you're making plans for the remainder of Independence Day, be ready for severe weather.
The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for southeast Michigan until 10 p.m. Storms could bring two-inch hail and 70 miles-per-hour winds.
The watch comes on top of the excessive heat warning that remains in effect until Friday evening.

High temperatures will reach into middle and upper 90s with overnight temperatures cooling to the mid 70s. High humidity will result in a heat indice of 105-110 Wednesday. The conditions could result in heat related illnesses such as heat stroke, heat exhaustion and dehydration.
The National Weather Service recommends taking extra precautions when spending time outdoors, including rescheduling strenuous activities to early morning or evening. It is also recommended that people wear lightweight and loose-fitting clothing and drink plenty of water.
