Unique Coin Donated to Red Kettle
Unique Coin Dropped in Salvation Army Red Kettle at Walmart

Ann Arbor, MI (December 21, 2018) – A rare coin has been dropped into the Salvation Army red kettle at the Saline Walmart by an anonymous donor.
The coin is a Liberty Coin, celebrating the US Mints 225th anniversary.
“We’re not yet sure of the coin’s exact worth,” said Major Kris Wood, Washtenaw County Coordinator, “but we’re all incredibly excited. For example, a coin worth $1500 could provide more than 200 dinners for families in crisis.”
