VIDEO: Piper Plays Happy Birthday for Mom at Celtic Feast
The mood was jovial at Mac's Wednesday night, as Celtic Festival fun officially began.
The Saline Celtic Festival week kicked off Wednesday with the annual Celtic Festival Dinner and Whiskey Tasting celebration at Mac's Acadian Seafood shack.
Saline resident Tom Todd, a member of Cabar Feidh pipes and drums band, opened the dinner by playing bagpipes at the special party, held in Mac's basement dining room. When he finished the traditional hymn, he broke into a new song, to honor his mother, who was celebrating a birthday.
The crowd joined in the song.
