Police Identify 4 Adult Victims, Toddler Who Survived I-94 Crash
None of the victims of the crash were wearing seatbelt, according to police. The toddler, however, was in a car seat.

HARPER WOODS, MI – Four adults were killed in a single-car crash on Interstate 94 near Eight Mile Road early Monday morning, according to Michigan State Police reports. An infant, who was the only person in the SUV who was restrained, was the only survivor of the wreck, police said.
Police said Doreal Rodgers, 20, of Detroit, was driving the 2006 Buick SUV, according to a report by the Detroit News. Police said that Rodgers was driving east along I-94 at a high rate of speed. As Rodgers drove passed traffic, the she lost control of the vehicle, crossed three lanes of traffic and hit a bridge, according to police reports.
In the SUV with Rodgers was Alesia Maddox, 20, also from Detroit, who was in the front seat, according to the Detroit News. In rear were Armonie Maddox, 18 of Detroit and brother to Alesia Maddox, and Ervin Johnson, 18, of Eastpointe. The toddler was identified as the 1-year-old son of Aleshia Maddox

None of the adults were wearing seatbelt. The infant was restrained in a car seat. The adults were all killed instantly in the crash, according to the statement.
The eastbound lanes of I-94, which were closed much of the early morning hours, have been re-opened, according to a report from the Detroit News.
