Bedford Woman Disappears After Telling Friend She was Being Followed
Hayley Turner is the victim of a possible abduction after police found her unoccupied car.

An 18-year-old Bedford Township woman was reported missing on Aug. 7, according to a police report.
Hayley Turner was on the phone with a friend when she stopped to check on a person lying on the side of the road at the intersection of Dean Road and Crabb Road, according to the Sheriff’s office. Officials say she told the friend that she was being followed by a man with a gun at around 10 p.m.
At about 10:08 p.m., the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene, just east of Temperance and north of Ohio, police said. Her unoccupied vehicle was found minutes later on Dean Road. Land and air searches are underway.

Turner is described as a white female, 5 feet tall, and about 130 pounds with brown hair past her shoulders. She was wearing black yoga pants and an orange T-shirt at the time.
