Rain is possible Monday night into Tuesday, and cooler temperatures are ahead for the weekend.

Monday: Sunny with a high near 83; calm wind becoming south-southwest at 5 to 9 mph in the afternoon. Monday night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 a.m.; mostly clear, with a low around 63; southwest wind around 8 mph.

Tuesday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8 a.m.; mostly sunny, with a high near 81; west-northwest wind around 6 mph. Tuesday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 59; ight north wind.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 81. Wednesday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 63.

Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 82. Thursday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 66.

Friday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms; partly sunny, with a high near 78. Friday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 60.

Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 74. Saturday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 57.
