Excedrin Returning to Stores Later This Year

Excedrin was part of a massive recall by drugmaker Novartis in January. Since then, migraine and headache sufferers have longed for its return.

Since January, migraine and headache sufferers been waiting and hoping for Excedrin to return after it was part of a massive recall in January.

Drugmaker Novartis told the Wall Street Journal that production has resumed on the recalled Excedrin products. They're expected to be back on store shelves as early as this month.

The Journal added that bottles of the recalled medication have been fetching more than $100 at sites like Amazon and eBay.

These Excedrin products, with expiration dates of Dec. 20, 2014 or earlier, were part of the recall:

American News Report says that the long recall may have cost Novartis customers as people found alternatives to Excedrin products.
