An Arctic blast that is making it unsafe for kids to walk to school is responsible for Tuesday's school closing.
The bitterly cold wind chill temperatures forecast for southeast Michigan has led to school closures in St. Clair Shores
The closures, according to school websites and WDIV, include:
- Assumption Center
- Assumption NurseryÂ
- Lake Shore Public Schools
- Lakeview Public Schools
- Love and Peace Montessori
- Macomb Intermediate School District
- South Lake SchoolsÂ
- St. Germaine Catholic School
- St. Joan of Arc Catholic
- St. Isaac Jogues CatholicÂ
