Federal Death Penalty Sought In Macomb County Murders: Report
The police commissioner of Warren may ask for the federal death penalty after two people were found shot to death.
MACOMB COUNTY, MI — The head of a Macomb County city's police department is calling for the death penalty after two people — including a 6-year-old boy — were killed execution style.
Warren Police Commissioner Bill Dwyer may ask the federal death penalty against those responsible for the killing of the boy and a 28-year-old woman in the 2100 block of Otis in Warren Thursday, Christina Hall of The Detroit Free Press reported.
Both victims were shot at least once in the head, according to the Free Press. The shootings may be connected to the death of a 31-year-old man described as the boy's father, who was found killed in Detroit Thursday.
