Free a cappela performances in St. Clair Shores, Farmington
Chorus and quartets are featured
The Motor City Blend Chorus presents “Autumn Blend,” a performance on Nov. 3.
There are two, one-hour shows: one at 1 p.m. at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Bruce Post 1146 at 28404 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores, and the other at 5 p.m. at the Finnish Cultural Center, 35200 8 Mile Road, Farmington. They feature quartets Girl Talk, Spectrum and Up to Note Good.
Admission is free to hear the a cappella groups, but donations are gratefully accepted at the door. Raffle ticket proceeds support the chorus’s 2020 trip to Louisville, Ky. for Sweet Adelines International competition. Motor City Blend chorus has nearly 100 singers from Michigan, Ohio and Ontario.
