Funds Sought to Help Children With Special Needs

An online campaign has been established to help two special needs children in St. Clair Shores.

According to the post, Joshua is 6-year-old with ADHD, intermittent explosive disorder and pervasive developmental disorder. He was exposed to alcohol and drugs before birth and is mentally and emotionally functioning at the level of a 3 1/2 year old.

Megan is 3 years old and has ulcerative colitis. She was also exposed to prescription medication before birth. The children live in a single-parent household and their father is paid hourly and has no benefits. The children are also believed to have been abused.
