Know A Good Volunteer? The Macomb County Board Of Commissions Wants To Recognize Them

Give a shout out to your friend that organizes homeless shelter food drives, tutors kids at the public library or walks dogs at the shelter.

MACOMB COUNTY, MI — Know someone who gives back big-time to Macomb County? If so, the Macomb County Board of Commissioners wants to know about them.

The Board of Commissions would like to recognize volunteers who either live in or have impacted Macomb County during “National Volunteer Recognition Month” in April, according to a press release. Each chosen volunteer will be invited to attend an upcoming Full Board meeting to be honored for their endeavors.

So now is the time to give a shout out to your friend that organizes homeless shelter food drives, tutors kids in world history at the public library or plays with German Shepherds at the animal shelter. Click here to submit your nomination form and note that the deadline for nominations is 5 p.m. on Friday, March 10.
