Large Hail, Damaging Winds Possible: Metro Detroit Weekend Weather

The National Weather Service said a low-pressure system deepening over northern Great Lakes could cause severe weather through Saturday.

METRO DETROIT, MI — Sunday should be a perfect day for outdoor activities in Metro Detroit with a high near 74, but soggy weather is in the forecast until then.

The National Weather Service said thunderstorms are possible late Friday night and into Saturday as a low-pressure system deepens over the northern Great Lakes and pulls a warm front north through the area.
