Macomb County Warming Center Hours And Locations
The Macomb County Warming Center offers respite from the treacherous temperature and wicked wind chill.
MACOMB COUNTY, MI — The Macomb County Warming Center and Ray Of Hope Day Center have created a 2016-2017 calendar of warming centers open to the public. Which is welcome - and lifesaving - news as the temperature in the Detroit area is expected to drop to 7 Thursday evening with gusts of wind roaring in at 17 m.p.h.
Here's how the Macomb County Warming Center works. Each week, a Macomb church hosts a warming center. For the week ending Dec. 17, the warming center is at the Love Life Family Christian Center at 17363 Toepfer Dr., Eastpointe. Hours: 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. on week days and 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on the weekend.
