Michigan vs.Wisconsin Football: Kickoff Time, Point Spread, TV Schedule, More

No. 4 Michigan hosts No. 8 Wisconsin, which his mounted a defense that has allowed tough opponents less than 12 points a game.

Wisconsin’s surprising 30-6 rout of Michigan State in East Lansing establishes the Badgers as Michigan’s biggest test to date. And while Wisconsin has taken down perennial powerhouses LSU and the Spartans thus far, the Wolverines are a step up in class from even those two squads.

Michigan enters this game on a roll after destroying Penn State 49-10 last Saturday. The Wolverines ran for six touchdowns and accumulated 326 yards on the ground, led by De’Veon Smith’s 107 yards. Quarterback Wilton Speight didn’t have to put the offense on his shoulders, but he still enjoyed a solid game, completing 21 of 34 passes for 189 yards and touchdown.

Wisconsin redshirt freshman quarterback Alex Hornibrook got his first start against Michigan State and he proved he was up to the task, throwing for 195 yards and a touchdown. The Badgers only rushed for 122 yards against the Spartans, with Dare Ogunbowale (55 yards) and Corey Clement (54 yards) accounting for most of that total. That tandem will need to improve their performance against a Wolverines defensive line that has been susceptible to the run.
