Mark Powell threw a one-hitter to lead the baseball team to a 9-0 victory over Sterling Heights on Wednesday.
Powell pitched all seven innings and struck out nine while only giving up two walks and one hit.
He received plenty of support from Lakeview’s offense. Nino Genna went 2-for-4 with a RBI and run scored, and Sam Sells and David Morris each drove in two runs for the Huskies.

Lakeview improved its overall record to 10-11.
