METRO DETROIT, MI — Rain and cloudy skies through mid-week will give way to pleasant, sunny days toward the end of the week and into next weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
Here’s the seven-day forecast:
Monday: 90 percent chance of showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 1 p.m.,then showers between 1-2 p.m.; high near 69; south-southwest wind 10 to 14 mph, becoming west in the morning, gusts as high as 22 mph. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. Monday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 54; west-southwest wind 13-15 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph.

Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 66; southwest wind 13 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Tuesday night: A 50 percent chance of showers; mostly cloudy, with a low around 52; west wind 6 to 11 mph.
Wednesday: A 50 percent chance of showers; mostly cloudy, with a high near 64. Wednesday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 52.
