The following information is gathered from the St. Clair Shores Police Department. Arrests do not indicate conviction.

St. Clair Shores police arrested an 18-year-old resident March 30 on a charge of felonious assault after she threatened to kill her mother while holding a knife up to her. The mother was able to get the knife away from the daughter and call police. Responding officers found the daughter on the balcony and when she spotted them she went inside. She later would not comply with officers and was being difficult during processing. The officers took her to the Macomb County Jail as a result. The mother did not report being injured but said the daughter began yelling at her when she arrived to the house and then grabbed a large kitchen knife. She pointed the knife at her while holding it to her shoulder and threatening to kill her, according to a report.
