ST. CLAIR SHORES, MI — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

Medical Lab Technician

<b>Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?</b>
Amiee has never flinched at the risks her job entails. Her job is absolutely essential, doctors and nurses don’t know what they are treating without the work of a Lab Tech. Working directly with Covid-19 patients and specimens can be bit stressful with a family at home to be worried about, but Amiee continues to be an amazing Medical Lab Tech, and most heroically, an amazing friend, mother, and wife!

Amiee is 100% selfless and one of the most caring people in the world.
