St. Clair Shores Holiday Event Celebrates Loved Ones Lost To Cancer

St. Clair Shores "Tree of Memories" event celebrates those affected by cancer.

ST. CLAIR SHORES, MI You can honor a loved one lost to cancer this holiday season at the special Tree of Memories celebration hosted by The Lake House on Nov. 21 at 7 p.m.

The Lake House, a nonprofit that supports cancer patients, survivors and caretaker, is hosting its annual Tree of Memories event to give people in the community an opportunity to come together and celebrate loved ones lost to cancer during the holidays. There will be music and you can add a loved one's name to an ornament on the Tree of Memories.

“The Lake House acknowledges that the holidays are a difficult time for those who have lost friends and family members to cancer,” said Madeline Bialecki, The Lake House Executive Director. “We offer this event in the hopes that attendees can turn their mourning into a celebration of life.”
