Those who voted Trump in 2016 invited to meet and greet each other Oct. 11
Those who voted for Trump in the last election are being invited by The Wayne 12th CDRC to meet and greet fellow Trumpers at a free Oct. 11 presentation at the Westfield Activities Center, 2700 Westfield Road in Trenton (behind the Trenton Veterans Memorial Library). The facility will open the doors to its 120-people seating at 5:30 p.m., with the event running from 6-9 p.m.
Jason Von Mueller, who is chairing the event, confirmed that the Wayne 12th CDRC hopes that people who voted GOP in 2016 (particularly those who never voted GOP before) will meet that night to discuss the values which led them to vote for Trump last election, and how those values will guide them to vote in 2018. Besides meeting and greeting fellow Trump Republicans, those in attendance will also have the opportunity to meet the Wayne 12th District leadership as well. Those confirmed so far as scheduled to speak at the event are Dr. Rob Steele, Michigan's man on the Republican National Committee; as well as Michigan legislator Pat Colbeck (who is running for governor next year).
The Wayne 12th CDRC is also inviting those in attendance to bring letters for mailing to Trump and/or Congress, in which the voters can press for their Washington officials to deliver on what they were promised in the 2016 election. They can even share their letters with the guests if they want, before the Wayne 12th CDRC mails them to Washington. And before, during and after the fellow Trumpers mingling, the Wayne 12th CDRC will be providing free pizza and pop for the people to enjoy.
