Friends of Trenton-Woodhaven Animal Shelter Thankful For The Pawsome Support Of The Community

Cindy Dingell & Daisy share a kiss at the Trenton Biggby Coffee Shop. Daisy is a wonderful girl, and is anxiously awaiting a forever home...

The Friends of the Trenton & Woodhaven Animal Shelter, wanted to take some time to thank the whole community for coming out to Biggby Coffee in Trenton on Saturday, and supporting their efforts to take
care of, and find forever homes for homeless animals.

Thanks to the generosity of the Trenton-Woodhaven community, they were able to raise $920 during this 5 hour event. That money will be used to assist in the many shelter needs, that go along with finding forever
homes for all of the homeless animals that come their way.

A special thanks goes to James Conner, the owner of Biggby Coffee for not only hosting the event, but for donating a good chunk of coffee sales to this effort. I had the pleasure of meeting James as he was working the counter, and what struck me about the guy was not only how he is so friendly with all of the customers, but also his dedication to the community. It is business owners like James, who put the time and effort into making themselves part of the fabric of their community, that make communities strong. So if you find
yourself in Trenton, and want a delicious coffee concoction, stop in and say hi to James, I know he'll make you feel welcome!
