Grosse Ile Resident Chisra Wine for the Spirit

Beaumont’s Wine for the Spirit fundraising event will be held on Saturday, September 28, 6:30 p.m., at the Max M. & Marjorie S. Fisher Music Center in Detroit. Proceeds from the evening will provide significant support for many Beaumont Children’s programs throughout Southeast Michigan.

”Wine for the Spirit is a wonderful event that raises awareness and much needed funding for the programs of Beaumont Children’s,” said Ron Moran, Event Chair and Grosse Ile resident. “Guests attending the event will experience wonderful fine wines and will join us as we honor the work of Beaumont Children’s Center for Human Development.”

Wine for the Spirit, hosted by Beaumont ACO, is a strolling wine and food tasting event with unique wines to sample from around the world. Guests will enjoy wine, silent auction, entertainment by the Ben Sharkey Band and a crowd favorite - the special “Fine Wine Tasting Room”; which, for a small fee, enables guests to sample exclusive wines donated from personal cellars. The pre-event Bordeaux Benefactor Reception is exclusively for Chardonnay Sponsors and above, and provides special amenities along with a meet-and-greet of Beaumont Health’s Leadership Team.

The evening will also honor Beaumont Children’s Center for Human Development (CHD) as the program celebrates 50 years of changing young lives. For more than five decades, CHD has been helping children in our community overcome developmental and behavioral challenges such as dyslexia, attention deficit syndrome, hyperactivity and hearing impairments through compassionate, comprehensive care. It also offers intensive interventional treatment for children with autism spectrum disorders through its Ted Lindsay Foundation HOPE Center.
