Kroger Begins Free Home Pharmacy Delivery Service
The free service is offered at all 104 in-store pharmacies in Michigan.

The Kroger Co. of Michigan is offering home delivery of prescriptions from all of its 104 in-store Michigan pharmacies.
Kroger said in a statement that it is partnering with Traverse City-based iOmni LLC to offer free delivery of prescription medicines. The Novi-based supermarket chain is guaranteeing s a 24-hour turnaround on prescriptions.

“If you or your children are sick, you don’t have to travel or take an ill family member to a store location to pick up needed medication,” Jim Syszkowski, pharmacy director of The Kroger Co. of Michigan said in the statement. “The free delivery service allows you to stay home and focus on your health or the health of a loved one. When combined with Kroger’s digital application, which allows consumers to quickly reorder prescriptions online, the process is very convenient.”
The service, available Monday-Friday, benefits customers with mobility limitations or who do not want to risk travel, especially during periods of inclement weather, Kroger said.

“Home delivery removes the burden from the customers and caregivers,” said Veronica Moyer, CEO of iOmni, LLC.
Kroger pharmacies also offer customers other conveniences, including immediate translation services for 15 languages, including Arabic, Cantonese, Farsi, Hindi and Japanese.
“Language translation is another way we provide service to all customers to ensure they receive and understand the medications and care they need,” Syszkowski said.
Additionally, 43 Kroger stores in Michigan offer drive-through pharmacies.
