Loan Closet Reopens To Serve Trenton Residents

To accommodate users, a limited supply of equipment has been relocated to the Kennedy Recreation Center.

September 22, 2020

The Trenton Loan Closet, which had been shuttered due to the ongoing pandemic and continued closure of the Westfield Center, is reopening in September and will be available through the Parks and Recreation Office at the Kennedy Recreation Center. The Loan Closet is a community resource that loans basic medical equipment such as crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs and bathroom safety equipment to Trenton residents. The department understands how important this service is to residents in need and has been working hard to make the necessary changes that has allowed it to reopen.
