Trenton School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

TRENTON, MI — The first day of school in Trenton is September 5. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The Trenton Public School System has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 11/17: Elementary and Middle School Late Start (.25 Professional Development)
• 11/22: Thanksgiving Vacation Begins at End of Day
• 11/27: Elementary and Middle School Late Start (.25 Professional Development)

December

• 12/11: Late Start (.25 Professional Development)
• 11/22: Winter Vacation Begins at End of Day

January

• 1/8: School Resumes
• 1/15: No School (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day)
• 1/26: End of Semester, Half Day for Elementary and Middle School Students
