Youth Performing Arts Center Seeking Actors for Christmas Musical

Open auditions are set for Sept. 15 and 16 for the Downriver Youth Performing Arts Center's Christmas musical. 

Here's a list of five things to know about the upcoming Christmas musical at the Trenton Village Theatre.

1)  Actors and actresses ages 5 to 19 are invited to audition for Miracle on 34th Street The Musical. 

2)  Most roles are for children ages 12 and up.

3)  Auditions are separated by age. Ages 5 to 11 audition from 3 to 5 p.m. Sept. 15 and ages 12-19 audition from 6 to 9 p.m. Sept. 15 and 16.

4)  Actors should come prepared to dance and sing, with a vocal piece prepared.
